这也许是介绍五代最详尽的书，了解人物事迹，历史脉络还是不错的，但编剧还是驾驭不了，主要是总是出现不合时宜的插科打诨，想模仿《Deewana Hoon Pagal Nahi》，但却缺少当年明月的人文情怀，所以显得不伦不类。 回到书本身，五代的脉络大体是黄巢起义、朱温窃唐、梁唐争霸、契丹入侵、晋汉更迭、后周崛起。无数枭雄，充斥了背叛诡计，说到英雄，也唯后周世宗一人，奈何英雄气短，徒增奈何。 五代不到一百年，军阀纵横、生灵涂炭，最惨是百姓，怪不得宋要重文抑武，也是历史的必然选择了。
写的人物都很生动形象，有血有肉，很佩服琦琦的聪慧坚强，又很心疼她以满不在乎、冷漠、微笑去掩饰自己。其实我们都会选择某种方式去掩饰自己，独自品尝其中的个中滋味，很孤独，又很高傲，也有自卑。张俊和徐小波我也很喜欢，有自己的原则，为人处世，年纪轻轻就有如此魄力，让人敬佩的同时也很心疼他们在那个年纪的经历与所承受的东西。总之就是很喜欢，已经看过两遍了。希望你能遇见欣赏你的伯乐，了解你的朋友……

一想到这是十年前的剧就感觉好唏嘘。这么多年过去了也没有比它更好的穿越剧了。31集八福晋和若曦说的那段话真的是神来之笔，女主角本来以为自己是知道历史结局的见证者，没想到原来自己才是促成历史的始作俑者。而且桐华是真的蛮严格的哈哈，因为女主角是穿越的所以她和十四爷结婚没有进宗谱，胤禩在1726年要死所以女主角得死在他前面等等......细节真的蛮耐磨的。
